Responsibilities: 1. Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems for the Certik projects. 2. Distributed Systems: Design and implement distributed systems to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of the projects. 3. Data Engineering: Develop and optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows, ensuring efficient handling of large-scale data. 4. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of the backend systems. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and designers, to translate requirements into technical solutions. 6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality standards are maintained. 7. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, API specifications, and deployment processes. 8. Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest backend development trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Apply innovative solutions and technologies to enhance the Certik projects. Required skills and qualifications: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Strong experience in backend development using Go, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem and best practices. 3. Proven experience in designing and implementing distributed systems, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability. 4. Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience with large-scale data processing and optimization. 5. Proficiency in working with databases, data storage, and caching technologies. 6. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes. 7. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and their related services. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in distributed systems. 9. Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies. 10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
